Summer Workshops

FCCT Summer Workshops

Every summer since the early 1980's, FCCT has hosted a drama workshop for children ages 10 - 14 years old, and now one for children ages 14 - 18. The three week program runs in June and concludes with performances on the Magnolia Theatre stage at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Collins, Colorado.

There is a cost to attend and scholarships are limited, but available. Students in the program are given an excellent opportunity to learn about live theater and the various elements that contribute to a successful show, both onstage and backstage. With the help of a director, music director, technical director and student apprentices, the children prepare their musical for public performance while they learn and grow!
