Center Stage Summer Theatre Workshops!

(Children aged 12-14 can choose either one!) 

 PRESENTING: “ FINDING NEMO JR ”  

June 3rd – 14: Rehearsals @ Shepherd of the Hills Church (1200 S Taft Hill Rd) Juniors – 9 am to 12 pm  

Seniors – 1 pm to 4 pm 

June 17-23: Tech week and performances @ Lincoln Center's Magnolia Theater 

Cost: $375 

(Scholarships are available, Sibling discount $50)

 

NOTE: 

Registering and paying a non-refundable registration fee of $50 secures your child's spot in the Juniors or Seniors group. A follow-up email with more details and a Google Form for you to complete registration will be sent later. The remainder of the workshop fee will be due before camp starts. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Story Theatre (1 Week Camp, Ages 8-12) 

 PRESENTS; “LOST AND FOUND ADVENTURES” 

Learn a role, memorize lines, and perform a character to bring a story to life! These two fun tales are based on characters who get lost and then found, just like Nemo! Jump in and join the  adventures with the fun characters in “Fairytale Follies” and “Kiki the Kourageous.” 

June 17th to 20th: Rehearsals 9 AM - 2 PM  

@ Shepherd of the Hills Church (1200 S Taft Hill Rd) 

Friday, June 21st AM:  

Meet @ Lincoln Center's Magnolia Theater to watch Finding Nemo Jr. as a group on June 21st PM: Perform at a nearby venue (location and time TBD) 

Ages: 8 - 12 

Cost: $150

Center Stage Juniors

A 3-week musical theatre workshop in June for young actors to hone their auditioning, acting, singing, and dancing skills, culminating in a performance of a Broadway Jr. musical at the Lincoln Center Magnolia theatre. The Juniors are ages 10-14 to accommodate younger actors to participate, learning along with older, more experienced youth. They produce the same show as the Seniors, meeting to rehearse in the mornings. 

Center Stage Seniors

A 3-week musical theatre workshop in June for young actors to hone their auditioning, acting, singing and dancing skills, culminating in performance of a Broadway Jr. musical at the Lincoln Center Magnolia theatre. The Seniors are ages 12-17, to accommodate older actors extending their participation, learning along with younger actors. They produce the same show as the Juniors, meeting to rehearse in the afternoons. Young actors aged 12-14 are in the lucky middle age range, able to choose either program!

Story Theatre

A week- long theatre camp for kids 8-12, meeting each day from 9am to 2pm, culminating in a performance on the last day. The focus is on dramatizing a story, complete with learning lines, characterization, and performing skills to bring a story to life.
