As part of our mission, FCCT partners with a number of community organizations to help make theatre accessible to as many people as possible.
OFFERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NORTHSIDE AZTLAN COMMUNITY CENTER AND THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
This program is offered in the spring and fall for youth ages 8-12. Children learn about theatre through story dramatization. Bring a character and story to life, memorize lines, and hone acting skills. Registration occurs through the Fort Collins Recreator. FCCT secures a director and provides materials for costume, props and sets.
ADAPTIVE RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES
OFFERED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
This program is a drama program for physically and developmentally challenged adults. FCCT provides a volunteer director as well as costumes and props, and CSU Occupational Therapy interns volunteer their time to help. Classes occur over 6 Saturdays in the spring with a performance in May. Registration occurs through the Fort Collins Recreator.
BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
FCCT has supported the arts staff of the Fort Collins Boys and Girls Club with after school drama productions. FCCT periodically helps with scripts and provides the Boys and Girls Club with tickets to summer and fall productions.
This program involved a small group of actors from the FCCT community who volunteered their time to perform at schools, base camps, and libraries. The program was active from 2010-2016.
